Create API Key from your Back Office

API keys play a crucial role in authenticating and securing API requests, ensuring that only authorized users can access and modify data. They help protect your system from unauthorized access and potential misuse. In this guide, we will walk you through the steps to create an API key in the Neostore back office, enabling you to securely interact with the Neostore API and manage your tenant’s pass information effectively.

Steps to Create an API Key

  1. Login to Neostore Back Office

    • Navigate to the Neostore back office login page.
    • Enter your credentials and sign in.

  2. Access API Key Management

    • Locate and click on Settings > Security > API Keys section from the navigation menu in the left.

  1. Generate a New API Key
    • Click on the “Add New” button in the top right of the screen.
    • Enter the required details such as a name for the key and any specific permissions or scopes needed.
    • Click “Save” to create the API key.

  1. Review and Copy the API Key
    • Once generated, the API key will be displayed.
    • Copy the API key using the button for this action and store it securely. Note that you may not be able to view the key again for security reasons.

    • Save the changes and ensure the new API key is active.
