Shopify Connector Setup and Configuration Guide for Neostore

This guide provides detailed instructions for setting up and configuring the Shopify connector with Neostore. This connector helps merchants transform customers into active members using mobile wallet applications (Apple Wallet and Google Wallet). The integration connects customer accounts or loyalty cards in real-time to Shopify CRM.

Benefits of the Shopify Connector

The Shopify connector allows merchants to:

  • Create more customers via QR code in-store or links shared through digital tools (social media, websites, etc.).
  • Enroll customers in mobile wallet applications via QR code in-store (Apple Wallet and Google Wallet) or through our dedicated “Add to Wallet” SDK button online.

  • Display Shopify CRM data on customer cards.
  • Identify customers easily at the Shopify POS (for those using Shopify POS) and display prerequisites for barcode scanners from the Shopify documentation.

Steps to Activate the Connector

1. Get an access token in Shopify

To generate an access token, please refer to the instructions in How to connect your Shopify store and Neostore.

Design and Configuration

  1. Design and Configure Forms and Wallet Templates

    • Utilize Neostore’s advanced designers to create and customize forms and wallet templates.
  2. Distribute Wallet Cards

    • Distribute the wallet cards via Neostore forms in-store and through the “Add to Wallet” button online.

Sample Liquid Code for Shopify Storefront

To display the Neostore “Add to Wallet” button on your Shopify storefront, you can use the following Liquid code samples:

  1. Go to your Neostore backoffice.

Identify Customer Cards with Shopify POS

Ensure that you are using compatible barcode scanners as specified in the Shopify documentation to identify customer cards efficiently at the Shopify POS.

Shopify POS can’t identify via customer identifier for now. We recommend to test this integration before deployment or find workaround to identify customers via their email data that could displayed on the QR code of the card.

Measure and Segment Customers

Track and analyze customer segments based on card installations using Neostore’s analytics tools

By following these steps and integrating the provided Liquid code, you can leverage the full potential of the Shopify connector with Neostore to enhance customer engagement and streamline CRM processes.
