Apple Wallet, previously known as Passbook, is a digital wallet developed by Apple Inc.

It allows users to store various passes, including coupons, boarding passes, credit cards, and more. Introduced in 2012 with iOS 6, it was renamed Apple Wallet with iOS 9 in 2015.

The app supports barcode display, location and time-based triggers, pass synchronization via iCloud, and multiple languages for localization.

It expanded to include features like Express Mode for contactless payments and support for digital keys for home, vehicle, and hotel access.

Apple Wallet also integrates financial services like Apple Card, Apple Cash, and Apple Pay Later.

The ecosystem supports various loyalty programs, public transport systems, government identifications, and digital keys.
