How to configure the POS Scanner Extension - The Wallet Crew Shopify app

The POS Scanner Tile allows in-store staff to scan customers’ digital passes using the Shopify POS to identify and verify customers.

Step 1: Install the POS Scanner Tile

1. Open the Shopify POS app on your device.
2. Navigate to Settings by tapping the gear icon in the bottom right.
3. Tap Manage Tiles.
4. Select Add Tile and choose App.
5. From the list of available apps, select The Wallet Crew.

Step 2: Configure the POS Scanner Tile

1. Once the tile is added, tap on the The Wallet Crew tile.
2. Grant camera access to the app to allow scanning of passes.

Step 3: Test the Scanner Tile

1. Return to the main POS screen and tap on The Wallet Crew tile.
2. Point the POS camera at a customer’s digital pass QR code.
3. Verify that the scanner identifies the customer correctly and displays their details on the POS screen at checkout.
